

This tutorial was written in PSP X2 but can be done in any version.
Supplies Needed
Image of your choice - I’m using the gorgeous artwork of Suzanne Woolcott
You need a license to use Suzannes work which is available from AMI
I used some PTU scrap supplies for mine and cant remember were I purchased
them but I have made similar items myself and included them in the supplies
or you can use your own.
Plugin: DSB Flux (optional)
If you are the creator of the mask used in my tutorial please contact me to either give
credit or remove it.
Included in supplies - Background paper, frame, doodle, button knot and mask.

Open a new image 650 x 600 and flood fill white.
Copy and paste the scrap paper supplied as a new layer.
Apply the mask to this layer - layers - merge group.
Resize your mask layer to 85%
Next copy and paste the doodle supplied as a new layer, place at the top of your
canvas, duplicate - image - flip. Give them a light drop shadow.
Now copy and paste the frame as a new layer.
Click inside the frame - selections - modify - expand by 3.
Copy and paste your image of choice - selections - invert - delete.
Move your image below the frame layer.
Now give your frame a drop shadow.
Next copy and paste the button knot provided and place this at the top left
hand corner of your frame. Duplicate and place the other at the bottom right hand
side of your frame - drop shadow both of these.
Now add your name and copyright info.
To Animate
If you are using the same image as me or are using a different image and wish to
animate parts of it then follow the instructions below.
Take your freehand selection tool set at point to point - mode (add shift) and feather 0.
Carefully go round the parts of your image you wish to animate.
Duplicate your image twice for a total of 3 image layers.
Click onto the first and apply DSB Flux with the intensity set at 32.
Go to your second image layer and again apply DSB Flux but hit the mix button twice.
Do the same again for your third image layer and hit the mix button 3 times.
Now cross out your two top image layers and click onto the first.
Edit - copy merged - paste into Animation shop
Cross out the first layer and uncross the second.
Edit - copy merged - paste into animation shop.
Repeat this for the third image layer.
In animation shop select - animation - animation properties - opaque white.
Save as a gif file and you’re done!
